I work at The Capture Agency, providing corporate communications advice, business journalism and film and photography services. My business background is journalism, public relations, film production and corporate communications. At heart, I'm a communications consultant. And a writer. A film-maker. And a photographer.
Write
I'm no longer a practising journalist (I was at The Economist Group for 4 years), but I still get to write for my clients quite a bit. Just not as much as before
Edit
I keep my editing skills honed on many different publications for my clients. Ask me for more info...!
Film
At any one time I have ten or so filming projects on the go. Here are three of my favourites: on Shackleton, Peter Rice and on cool engineers.
Photograph
I always carry a camera and use it as much for work as for pleasure. At work I shoot digital. At home I shoot film. Here's my flickr photostream and favourites.
Consult
I'm always on call to help in whatever communication situation arises, whether that's media situations, political events or general communications advice. Outside of work, I also help friends when they need it. I don't charge!
Teach
I should do more of this.
